Big Hair and a Book

This post is an essay that I wrote for my junior year of high school/freshman year of college English class. It’s a personal literacy essay where I discuss my experience with books. I hope you like it.  Throughout my entire life, including now, people always recognize me by my hair. Curly, brown,  and perpetually frizzy hair. My trademark. Although hair is important to who I am, I think books will  forever be the biggest part of me.            According to my mother, I started reading when I was 3, I can’t corroborate that since I don’t  remember being 3. In fact, I don’t remember much of my childhood. But I remember the books I read.  There were 3 extremely important books that have shaped my entire life, or at least my life until now,  but I can almost guarantee that they will always be important to me. These books represent different  types of reading, or different reasons you might read.   The first type is reading for knowledge, represented by the Egyptology book. As a child I wa

My Favorite Body Sprays

Hello hello! I know it's super late but it's still the 5th and I am posting just like I promised! Today I have whipped up a list of some of my favorite body sprays from Bath & Body Works, Bodycology, and Body Fantasies.  #1 Strawberry Poundcake from Bath & Body Works  This could very easily be one of the sweetest body sprays I own. It smells like vanilla, strawberries, and cake. What more could you want?!  #2 Fresh White Musk from Body Fantasies  This is the cheapest body spray I own, and it's the perfect base spray for so many fragrances. It smells so clean and fresh like you just got out of the shower. If you're looking for a clean girl fragrance for cheap, you should totally try this one.  #3 Pink Vanilla Wish from Bodycology  This smells like vanilla and the color pink. There's a bit of florals in there that gives it a lovely feminine touch. I love a good vanilla.  #4 Cotton Candy Clouds from Bath & Body Works  This one smells like spun sugar and va

Life Update

Hello! I'm sorry for how long I've been gone. I've been meaning to make this post for a while and I've really been procrastinating on it.  I started school last month and I'm also doing a lot of extracurriculars and it's been a lot. I've also been taking more time for myself, hanging out with my friends more, and watching more tv (lol). I've decided that I'm only going to be posting here once a month. The 5th of every month to be specific. But this post doesn't count so I'll be posting again very soon!  As always I hope you enjoyed reading this post! If you did, please  subscribe  to my emailing list and follow my  Pinterest  so that you can stay updated on my latest posts! Come back next month for more words from Willow!
